# Create an Application in AppSpace

Before creating a business process, you must first create an **Application** in **AppSpace**.\
All processes in ONEWEB are created and managed **within an application context**.

This section explains how to create an application, create a process inside the application, and start designing the process using **Process Designer**.

***

### Step‑by‑Step: Create Application and Process

***

#### Step 1: Create a New Application

1. Log in to **AppSpace**
2. Click the **Create New App** button

***

#### Step 2: Choose Application Platform

When creating an application, select the appropriate platform:

* **Web Application**
* **Mobile Application**

Enter the required application details.

***

#### Step 3: Start Application Development

Click **Start Develop** to begin creating components within the application.

The system redirects you to the **Components Page**.

***

#### Step 4: Create a New Process

On the components page, click the **Create Process** icon.

<figure><img src="https://2015371994-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FMpDjHWFRUtZ5nJcSfVXd%2Fuploads%2Fv3hWYK3JP47SvMrxtl3J%2F3?alt=media" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

***

#### Step 5: Define Process Details

In the **Create Process** dialog:

* Enter process name and details
* Choose one of the following options:
  * **Create** – Create an empty process and design it later
  * **Start Design** – Create the process and start designing immediately

If **Create** is selected, the process appears in the component list.\
You may later click the **Edit** icon ![](https://docs.oneweb.tech/oneweb/~gitbook/image?url=https%3A%2F%2F2015371994-files.gitbook.io%2F%7E%2Ffiles%2Fv0%2Fb%2Fgitbook-x-prod.appspot.com%2Fo%2Fspaces%252FMpDjHWFRUtZ5nJcSfVXd%252Fuploads%252FqBhdvoFpriQxA450NGz7%252F4%3Falt%3Dmedia\&width=300\&dpr=3\&quality=100\&sign=bce3fec8\&sv=2) to open Process Designer.

<figure><img src="https://2015371994-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FMpDjHWFRUtZ5nJcSfVXd%2Fuploads%2FZa4ntpbBGN9lb6kRtve7%2F5?alt=media" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

If **Start Design** is selected, the system immediately redirects to **Process Designer**.

***

If this is the **first process in the application**, a **Process Wizard** will appear to guide initial configuration.

***

#### Step 1: Define Business Object

Define **input and output data** used by the process.

<figure><img src="https://2015371994-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FMpDjHWFRUtZ5nJcSfVXd%2Fuploads%2FxILpz6rak70tTz1ANqmk%2F7?alt=media" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

You can:

* Add an existing Business Object ![](https://docs.oneweb.tech/oneweb/~gitbook/image?url=https%3A%2F%2F2015371994-files.gitbook.io%2F%7E%2Ffiles%2Fv0%2Fb%2Fgitbook-x-prod.appspot.com%2Fo%2Fspaces%252FMpDjHWFRUtZ5nJcSfVXd%252Fuploads%252Fs2emwAFrM1Hjltczfy8U%252F8%3Falt%3Dmedia\&width=300\&dpr=3\&quality=100\&sign=66d81dba\&sv=2)<br>
* Create a new Business Object ![](https://docs.oneweb.tech/oneweb/~gitbook/image?url=https%3A%2F%2F2015371994-files.gitbook.io%2F%7E%2Ffiles%2Fv0%2Fb%2Fgitbook-x-prod.appspot.com%2Fo%2Fspaces%252FMpDjHWFRUtZ5nJcSfVXd%252Fuploads%252FoPeEXc8IGD5azdpOfmV2%252F9%3Falt%3Dmedia\&width=300\&dpr=3\&quality=100\&sign=986d5879\&sv=2)<br>

Define parameters for the new Business Object:

Add additional parameters if needed:

<figure><img src="https://2015371994-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FMpDjHWFRUtZ5nJcSfVXd%2Fuploads%2FG87ib70LqL19z5eS8lK4%2F11?alt=media" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

| Property        | Mandatory | Description                  |
| --------------- | --------- | ---------------------------- |
| Work Party Name | Yes | Name of the work party |
| Type | Yes | Currently only **User Role** |

<figure><img src="https://2015371994-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FMpDjHWFRUtZ5nJcSfVXd%2Fuploads%2F2Gcn5XXphwYxObc43CZ1%2F14?alt=media" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Members can be:

* Added manually
* Selected using **Lookup existing member**

| Property    | Mandatory | Description         |
| ----------- | --------- | ------------------- |
| Member ID   | Yes       | Member identifier   |
| Member Name | Yes       | Member name         |
| Member Type | Yes | USER or ROLE |
| Work Party | Yes | Assigned work party |

***

#### Step 4: Create Process Flow

The final wizard step opens the **Create Flow** page, where the **Process Template Diagram** is created using BPMN elements.

<figure><img src="https://2015371994-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FMpDjHWFRUtZ5nJcSfVXd%2Fuploads%2FQqEDO3S84Dh5YkmRquXJ%2F15?alt=media" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

You are now ready to model the business process visually in **Process Designer**.
